Kendrick Lamar sang during the break of Super Bowl, among others “Not Like Us” – a song directed directly at rapper Drake. The song included a suggestion that Drake and Kendrick Lamar together with J.Cole are at the world top of rap, which Lamar did not take very well. In response, he released his own song “Like That” – he raised his pride and dissessed in it the other two rappers with the words: “Motherf ****** the Big Three – It’s just big me!“However, he hit Drake particularly hard, comparing him in a negative way to Michael Jackson.
The following months became a real scuffle between Drake and Lamar, accusing each other of worse things. Drake suggested that Lamar was the perpetrator of domestic violence, Lamar replied that Drake was a pedophile, involved in trade in children. Some Dissy appeared at several dozen minutes, and others – Rick Ross – began to get involved in the fight of rappers.
Kendrick Lamar’s performance is the result of Drake’s claim against the UMG label, which he accuses of defamation by promoting the song “Not Like Us”, in which the rapper is accused of being a pedophile. Shortly later, the song was awarded to five Grammy statuettes, while Lamar sang it on the Super Bowl stage.
The latest edition of the conflict is Drake’s performance in Australiawhere he changed the verses of the song “Knife Talk”. Now he suggests that he “has not yet died”, which heralds more scuffles between Drake and Lamar.
