Onions are undoubtedly one of the most used vegetables in Polish cuisine. We add it to many dishes and dishes, thanks to which they gain extraordinary taste and aroma. It is not only easily available in the store, but also relatively simple to grow. Therefore, if you have a piece of land in the garden, it is worth going to it. The more that with a slight effort the yields will be abundant and you will collect really large heads.
When to sow the onion to seedling? Do it now
Onion’s cultivation is not particularly complicated, although of course you should follow a few rules that will grow really large and delicious. The most important issue is to ensure its appropriate conditions for growth. Instead of sowing it straight into the ground, apply seedling. It is true that this method requires some commitment, but thanks to it you can count on earlier and definitely better yields. It’s best to get on soon, because the best date is February and the beginning of March.
How to sow onion for seedling? Watch these rules
For sowing onions for seedlings you will need multi -monitors (or flat containers) and permeable soil intended for sowing. Place one grain in each vessel, press into the soil to a depth of one and a half centimeters, then cover with a layer of soil, lightly pressing it. Finally, moisten well with water from the washer and set aside in a bright and warm place. Water regularly, and after 6-8 weeks it will be ready to overdo it. Do not forget to start to harden them in April, i.e. gradually get used to the lower temperature outside. Thanks to this, they will lift the transfer better.

Planting into the ground is best carried out at the turn of April and May, when the frost is already behind us, and the outside is quite warm temperature. Also, take care of the proper preparation of the beds. They should be dug, set every 30 cm, enriched with compost and of course without weeds. Remove them regularly, also after transplanting.
