Robert Treviño and Oriol Roch will not continue in the direction of Euskadiko Orkestra, according to their board of directors, approved this Monday, January 27, at a meeting.
Treviño ends, therefore, imminently an eight -year cycle at the head of the orchestra.
The decision is part of “a process of changing course, closing an artistic cycle and opening the doors to a new one, which must contribute new perspectives to the Euskadiko Orkestra project, so that the musical training continues to grow and expand its professional journey” .
On the other hand, Oriol Roch, general director of Euskadiko Orkestra, will also leave the address “on the nearby dates” after ten and a half years in office.
The Board of Directors has thanked both directors “the work done in recent years at the service of Euskadiko Orkestra and already works in the renewal both addresses.”
