Roksana Wêgiel and Mata in a duet? Maybe we didn’t come to the head, but here is a common single

He is one of the most famous and listened to Polish rappers of the young generation, she is the most associated as the winner of the first edition of the program “The Voice Kids” and Eurovision Junior. They share five years and performed musical genres, but they combined “breakwater”. In the chorus we hear:

I jump over breakwaters /when the sun sets behind the ocean, it

There are three composers – this is Michał Matczak, Roksana Węgiel and Mikołaj Vargas. Mata and Roxie also wrote the text together with Kevin Foglej. The single has already premiered at the first radio stations and streaming services.

– We met accidentally in the studio. Roxie and Kevin had a session where I record most often. I just came back for glasses because I forgot. I go to the studio and listen to this music that flies. Beat very cool. And so I think: maybe I will add something from myself, maybe I will tell something – a rapper in an interview with RMF. – I stayed for longer. We sat there. I played my part. A song was created. And this is the whole story – added the mat. Roxie Węgiel, in turn, said that she and her husband Kevin Mglej like to listen to the mats, and the song “100 days to the matura exam” accompanied the singer when she was preparing for the secondary school -leaving examination last year.

These are not the first duets in the career coal. In July 2023 she released the song “Łobuz” sung with Beata Kozidrak. She worked on “breakwater”, among others With Kevin Mglehem, a producer associated with her last album “13+5” (the first is “Roksana Węgiel” from 2019). They have been married since May this year.

For now, the mat has three studio albums: “100 days to the final exams” (2020), “Young Matczak” (2021) and “Heart (<33)" (2023).
