In June, HBO Max underwent a transformation. It was replaced by a new platform, Max, which offers viewers access to original productions from HBO, DC, Warner Bros, Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network, TVN and Player Originals. Two months after its premiere, the service published a list of the most watched titles in Poland.
Max in Poland for two months. The platform summed up its debut
Before the premiere in Poland, Max announced that subscribers would have access to as much as 27,000 hours of content, 25 percent of which would be domestic productions. There is no shortage of these, and for the second time since the service’s debut, they have found themselves in the top of the most watched films, series and programs on the platform. How does the entire Top 15 look?
In the second month since its premiere, Max recorded the highest viewership of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Right behind them was “The Dragon’s Blood”, the prequel to “Game of Thrones”, which triumphed on the service last month. The top most watched productions are rounded out by the Polish series “Skazana” with Agata Kulesza and Ola Adamska in the main roles.
The fourth place was taken by the film “Sami swoi. The Beginning”, while the fifth and sixth places were taken by the cinema hit “Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire” and the series about Wojciech Żabiński “King of Zanzibar”. This time, the list did not include popular television productions, such as “Kuba Wojewódzki” and “Kitchen Revolutions”. The Top 15, however, included three films from the Harry Potter series: “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” and “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”.
