A man with his head covered has defaced part of the city with spray paint. Banksy’s latest artworkwhich appeared on a wall in the southeast of Londonas shown in a video released on Tuesday by the BBC.
The artist unveiled this Monday his eighth work in the series called ‘London Zoo‘, with the silhouette of a rhinoceros drawn on a wall that seems to be climbing a car parked on the sidewalk.
A video from the British broadcaster shows the moment when a man wearing a balaclava approaches the construction site and leaves a white mark with spray paint on the rhino. In the recording, several people gathered at the site, in the Charlton district, south-east of London, can be heard saying: “Don’t do that” and “Why did you do that??”.
He rhinoceros follows the Sunday artwork, piranhas in a police booth, which has since been removed by the City of London council (financial area) in order to preserve it.
The anonymous artist apparently used translucent spray paint to turn the sentry box into a giant fish tankwhich appeared on a street in the financial center. Before the rhinoceros, Banksy painted on the street a goat, two elephants, three monkeys, pelicans, piranhas, a cat and a wolfThe mysterious graffiti artist confirmed his work on his Instagram account early in the afternoon.
