Zygmunt Chajzer reveals little about his personal life. In 2019, Filip Chajzer published a post on social media in which he shared a moving story with his followers. It turned out that Zygmunt Chajzer decided to take care of four children whose parents died in a car accident. They were placed in the care of their grandmother, who lived in a 16-meter studio apartment in Warsaw’s Żoliborz district at the time.

Internet users were moved by this story, so the idea of creating an official collection was quickly born. It was created shortly after the announcement that the city would speed up the entire process. At the end of 2019, in just three months, over PLN 95,000 was collected “for a good start” for four children and their grandmother and for the renovation of a new place.

Zygmunt Chajzer kept his promise and to this day helps the family as much as he can. “Step-grandfather” took them on vacation several times. In 2021, they spent their vacation together in Turkey, a year ago in Greece, and in May 2024, they celebrated the presenter’s 70th birthday together, this time near Rzeszów.
