The promoter Last Tour has announced the cancellation of the concert that La Polla Records was going to offer this Wednesday at the Anoeta Velodrome, in San Sebastián, due to the measures that the Basque Government has adopted before the expansion of the covid-19.
The organizers have explained in a note that the cancellation is due to the capacity reduction to 50% in closed venues with a capacity of more than 5,000 people, such as the Anoeta velodrome, approved today by the Executive of Iñigo Urkullu.
The promoter recalled that the concert was originally scheduled for September 26 at the racecourse, but was postponed several times due to the pandemic and the venue was changed.
“On this occasion a new postponement is not possible since the band will not act beyond the year 2021. Therefore, and given the impossibility of activating a mechanism that allows the public to readjust to the new capacity, since it would be discriminatory in any case , the promoter is forced to cancel the concert, “said Last Tour.
The organizers have thanked the fans who have kept their tickets during this time and announced that the amount of the tickets will be refunded to buyers automatically within a maximum period of 60 days.
The last concert of La Polla, held in Vitoria-Gasteiz, was involved in controversy when the band ceded the stage to anti-vaccine groups.
