Anna Mucha in the new “Kogel Moglu”: It’s wonderful to play crazy women

– On the set, I had a chance to observe, listen to and take advantage of the advice of my distinguished, experienced colleagues, such as Dorota Stalińska, Kasia Skrzynecka or Marian Opania. I was happy, absorbed, I felt like a schoolboy again. It’s a completely different job and a great pleasure – Anna Mucha told us about her work on the set during an interview, which you can watch below.

Anna Mucha: This film is a tribute to Katarzyna Łaniewska and her character

During the conversation, Anna Mucha also emphasized: – I like that this film is a very acting cinema, so each of the characters is conducted in a very consistent way. It is extremely interesting and educational, because working on the set is often a matter of adjusting your production calendar to e.g. the availability dates of the places where we shoot. So we do not work linearly and we do not record chronologically – which could make you go crazy. So it is very important to maintain a certain continuity of the character’s lead. Dorota Stalińska and Kasia Skrzynecka did it in a phenomenal way. There are also a lot of other actors that cannot be forgotten. Katarzyna Łaniewska – this is also a film which for all of us is a bit of a tribute and a monument, do not be afraid of this word, for this character and for this actress. A great figure. I am very happy that I took part in this project: it is both funny and touching, and there are moments when the shivers pass – encourages the actress. She also explained why she likes to work on Ilona Łepkowska’s scripts:

I appreciate Ilona Łepkowska for her intelligence, for her sense of humor – often very sarcastic and ironic, as well as for the fact that she can accurately and interestingly assess reality, for example a show business backyard. This is also a sentence with which I do not have to agree, but I am always happy and willing to listen to it. Also for the sense of observation and I am very happy that I am also on board of this project. Ilona Łepkowska does not take prisoners, so I have this – perhaps vain – illusion or the feeling that I am not there by accident.

Let us remind you that the previous part of the series, ie “Miszmasz or Kogel Mogel 3”, saw almost 2.4 million viewers in the cinema. “The End of the World or Kogel Mogel 4” was directed by Anna Wieczur. What can we expect this time? Agnieszka and Marcin’s love is blooming, just like Kasia and professor Wolański. Grandma Solska dreams only of the wedding of her only grandchild. However, his former lover, Bożenka, stands in the way of young Zawada’s happiness. Wolańska decides to radically change her life and disappears in mysterious circumstances. Peace of Piotr and Marlenka is disturbed by the unexpected visit of his mother from overseas … And some very compromising photos trigger an avalanche of events. The real end of the world is ahead.
