They planned to spend a few months there, but when martial law broke out in 1981, their stay was extended to two years.
Then they decided to move to Paris to try their hand at acting. However, their plans did not come true. – I went, but I only played a cameo in one film. That was the end of my world career. – commented Sałacka years later in “Echo Dnia”. So the actress took up modeling.

The couple returned to Poland after the end of martial law, but not together, but separately. They soon divorced. The reason was said to be the daily, growing conflicts. – We didn’t even agree on the books on the shelves.
