Most large cities have paid parking zones in the city centre. This area is growing every year and includes more districts. If you collect a ticket and pay every day, it will add up to a considerable sum. Residents can buy a subscription to park freely under their block and not have to collect a ticket every day. In one city, it costs only 5 PLN.
Cheap parking subscription. Three conditions must be met
Parking fees can significantly reduce the budget, especially . Many of them cannot boast a high pension. In addition, some have to buy medicines every month, for which they spend even several hundred zlotys. Niepolomice city authorities (Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Wieliczka County) thought about retirees and introduced a favourable offer. For parking for a year, seniors will pay 5 PLN. Three conditions must be met:
- To be a resident of the city of Niepołomice,
- Have a car that is registered to a given senior citizen,
- Have a National Senior Card.

How much does a resident’s subscription cost? It all depends on the city
So far, no similar solution has been implemented anywhere else. Resident parking subscription prices vary depending on the location. We checked how it looks in large cities.
- Warsaw – the cost of a district subscription (up to 8 parking meters located within a radius of 150 m from the place of registration) is PLN 30 per year. The cost of an area subscription (according to the map of subscription areas in SPPN) is PLN 600.
- Krakow – six types of subscription. The price depends on the location. In subzone A you will pay PLN 500 per month, in subzone B PLN 400 per month, in subzone C PLN 300 per month, and in a package (subzones A+B+C) PLN 750 per month.
- Wrocław – eight types of subscription. The price depends on the subzone. Prices range from PLN 100-4,000 per year.
- Łódź – PLN 240 per year for a resident (sector in which he or she is registered).
- Poznań – resident ID (for persons registered for permanent or temporary residence in the zone and paying income tax in Poznań) costs PLN 30 per month.
