For several years now, he has been traveling around the United States, where he films his documentary-reportage program “Niezwykłe Stany Prokopa”. The journalist, who is normally known from TVN, has been flying to the United States for several weeks since 2017 to look for answers to the question “what happiness is” and how Americans understand it. The program enjoys unflagging popularity – now the fifth season of the show is in production.
During his journey, Marcin Prokop also visited Kecksburg. The American media reported important information from a local point of view – “The Bulletin” devoted four columns of text to Prokop.
The American press writes about Marcin Prokop and “Prokop’s Extraordinary States”
If most visits by a small Polish film crew to the United States go unnoticed, the visit to Kecksburg must have made quite an impression on the locals. The local press wrote about Marcin Prokop’s arrival. And it was not just a short paragraph long note. The information was published in a long article, from which readers learned not only about the fact that a Pole had visited their town, but also that UFOs had been seen not only in the United States.
Marcin Prokop was introduced as “the author of several widely read books and creator of documentaries and series for TVN Warner Bros. Discovery in Poland”, the viewership of “Prokop’s Extraordinary States” was given and it was reported that he and his team would be happy to talk to guests of the UFO festival in Kecksburg.
Prokop reported the article on social media, writing:
If you are curious how I am doing, you can read about it in the American press – he informed his followers.
In a conversation with a journalist from “The Bulletin”, Prokop managed to smuggle in information that UFOs had been seen not only in several places in the United States. He also mentioned Emilcin, where the Aliens were supposed to have visited in May 1978. They met with a farmer, Jan Wolski, whom they even invited to their ship and subjected to tests. The man recalled that the representatives of the alien civilization were dressed in black jumpsuits with hoods and spoke in a strange, characteristic way, communicating in squeaks. When Jan Wolski and other residents went back to the “landing” site, no one was there anymore, like in a Wrocław square.
The UFO that was supposed to visit Emilcin looked like a classic saucer. The one that supposedly landed in Kecksburg supposedly looked like a giant acorn. “UFO experts won’t be surprised, but many viewers will see it for the first time,” Marcin Prokop encouraged in an interview with “The Bulletin”.
