A breakdown in the middle of Michał Szpak’s concert. The musician’s reaction is surprising

Michał Szpak had to deal with an unforeseen situation during a recent concert in Siemiany. A breakdown occurred during the concert.

Performances in front of an audience are often full of surprises. On July 20, Michał Szpak had to deal with a sudden power outage. It turns out that this is not the first time that Szpak and his accompanying musicians have been put in such a situation by fate. The vocalist, who began his career in a television show, decided not to interrupt the concert.

The power went out, Michał Szpak kept singing

The audience gathered in front of the stage could hear him singing unplugged, i.e. without electricity. Szpak later commented on the situation on social media. He approached the whole situation with distance.

– I am very pleased that you appreciated our form of sharing the emotions that we receive from you. Yesterday, such a situation arose, somewhat beyond the control of either party. The power simply went out, and it is not the first time at my concert. I am lucky in this respect… but it does not mean that my band and I cannot rise to the occasion and simply played an acoustic set. I am glad that it made you happy and that I could end this wonderful evening well – said Michał Szpak, addressing his followers on Instagram.

“Extremely refreshing”

– This acoustic energy exchange that happened at this concert also made me understand and reminded me of the power of what is unplugged. This charge that we exchange without all the electronics that surround us. It was also incredibly refreshing for me – added the vocalist.

Szpak is the runner-up in the TVN talent show “X-Factor” in 2011. Five years later, he represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest. At the 52nd National Polish Song Festival in Opole, he received the SuperPremiery award, and he also has the Amber Nightingale at the Top of the Top Sopot Festival 2022.
