Polish Television to Conduct Audit. Specialists to Analyze Expenditures on “Reset”
As “Wyborcza” emphasizes, half of the amount given is the author’s and producer’s fees. Sławomir Cenckiewicz was supposed to earn the most on “Reset”. According to the data cited by the editorial office, the first of the mentioned creators received a salary of almost 460 thousand zlotys, the second exceeded this result. Cenckiewicz was supposed to have signed several contracts with TVP for a total amount of 530 thousand zlotys, but they should also include the settlements for each episode of the series. Other people who were sympathetic to the government at the time and actively worked for the propaganda of the “old” TVP were also supposed to earn money on “Reset”. Krystian Krawiel, who worked on “Reset” as an “editing director” in 2019, was the editor of Michał Rachoń’s program “Minęła 20”. One of the episodes featured an animation in which a puppet of Jurek Owsiak holds a banknote with the Star of David. Telewizja Polska declares that it has been conducting audits concerning many areas of the station’s activity in recent years. It confirms that one of them also concerns “Reset”.
