The weekend edition of “Kawa na ławę” was marked by events from Poland last week. The main topic turned out to be the arrest of former deputy minister Marcin Romanowski, who was elected in the last elections. For several days now, there has been a feverish analysis of who was at fault where and why it was not noticed that the politician had another immunity. could be observed in the program hosted by Radomir Wit.
A brawl on TVN24. Politicians jumped at each other’s throats on “Kawa na ławie”
As always, politicians representing the political set in Poland were invited to “Kawa na ławę” last weekend. The conversation focused on the unsuccessful arrest of the former deputy minister of justice, who is accused of, among other things, participation in an organized criminal group – according to information provided by a former associate, Tomasz Maraz, he was supposed to create competitions that “would fit the framework of a specific beneficiary” who would later receive money from the Justice Fund.
The ineffective arrest and the confusion with double immunity caused a wave of comments, which in “Kawa na ławie” turned into a brawl. KO MP Marta Wcisło started it: “Ordinary criminals hide behind a fake alibi” – said Wcisło, to which PiS MP Marcin Horała responded.
Oh, be careful, be careful, it’s a violation of personal rights – he warned his colleague from the Sejm. Marcin Romanowski has not been charged, he cannot be called a criminal. This did not discourage Wcisło:
And the smart ones hide behind immunities. If Romanowski has nothing to hide, let him face the truth, waive his immunity and explain, since he is innocent. Why won’t he do it, why won’t he waive his immunity? Why such a farce, since he is innocent? I’m asking you – Horale replied.
This is a question for Mr Romanowski. However, what is significant in this matter – we have been talking about it for 45 minutes, and it can be summed up in one sentence: that there are two pieces of news, good and bad. Bad news is that Poland is ruled by gangsters, and good news is that it is the Olsen Gang, which cannot even cope with this procedure.

Wcisło shouted in the studio that Horała was defending “embezzlement”. Horała, however, downplayed the subject and tried to steer the discussion in a different direction:
The violation of the rule of law by the prosecutor’s office is quite an important matter. (…) By analogy, I will answer what is really important. For example, the attempt to cut spending on Poland’s defense, the reduction and delay of the CPK, the delay in the construction of nuclear energy – he said, accompanied by shouts of “Not true! Why are you lying?!” Marty Wcisło.
