Instead of going to the drugstore, go to the kitchen. A homemade air freshener is cheap and will defeat any smell.

We know that the bathroom can be a source of unpleasant odors. But before you reach for those store-bought air fresheners, consider how many chemicals they contain. Instead of reaching for a freshener that can pose a health risk, you can make your own.

Did you know that companies don’t have to disclose any of the ingredients used to make a fragrance? This is because fragrance is considered proprietary. Honestly, I’d rather know what’s in the products I use, so I’ve replaced many store-bought cleaning and personal hygiene products with homemade versions. This way I know exactly what I am putting on my body or breathing into my lungs.
