Break these rules and you’ll quickly say goodbye to your ROD plot. No one will listen to your explanations.

Nowadays, having an allotment garden plot is quite a blessing, so it is worth knowing the rules that apply to allotment gardens. Notorious violations of the regulations can result in the loss of rights to use, which is definitely not a desirable situation. What is not allowed on an allotment garden plot?

An allotment is a perfect place to spend your free days without leaving the city, in the fresh air. A barbecue with friends or unpunished lounging in a hammock sounds like a tempting plan for every summer weekend. However, it must be remembered that this is not a place where you can do whatever you want. Every allotment holder must comply with the rules of use of the area, and if they blatantly violate them, their allotment will be taken away.

What is not allowed on the ROD plot? It is worth following the rules

The most important guidelines included in the regulations concern the appropriate use of the plot, the behavior on it and the way it can be developed. If you have ever thought that living in the ROD would be a great idea, we immediately answer that it is prohibited. If you have a house on the plot, you can spend a few nights there, but forget about a longer stay. It is also not possible to conduct any business activity on it. Planned development must be reported to the board each time, because unauthorized development may result in the obligation to demolish.

The responsibilities of each allotment holder include not only their own land, but also common areas, e.g. alleys, drainage ditches and roads. Therefore, under no circumstances should they be polluted with any waste, even if it is just grass clippings.. There is a total ban on open fires, so forget about campfires. Use a safe grill instead. It is not allowed to park on the allotment grounds outside the designated parking spaces. However, you may enter the premises to transport heavy items after prior arrangement with the management. Under no circumstances may any weapons, including pneumatic weapons, be used on the ROD plot.. Shooting firecrackers and any hunting-related activity is prohibited.

How to buy a plot of land in ROD? The land will never be your property

Owning a ROD plot is equivalent to the right to lease a garden. If you dream of a piece of land in the city, be sure to contact the garden association to see if they have any available plots. If it turns out that it is, you can proceed with the formalities and sign a lease agreement with the board without any problems. Unfortunately, such a situation happens very rarely, because the plots are very popular and there are much fewer of them than there are willing people. In this situation, it is worth looking at offers from private individuals. For a certain fee, they can sell us their land use rights.. However, it is worth being careful and not being fooled by scammers. The notarial signing of the contract is not a guarantee, because the consent of the ROD management board must be obtained. Therefore, please hold off on paying until there is a decision. If you’d like, please vote in our poll below.
