The British started it, but it is the American version that enjoys the greatest popularity among viewers around the world. It is not easy to surprise the program’s judges, because over the years they have assessed various more or less successful performances. It is difficult to say which of these categories the show prepared by the 13-year-old from India falls into, because what she did on stage was definitely not expected by anyone.
She told the “Mam Talent” judges that she would dance. No one expected that
When Arshiya appeared in front of the cameras, they were charmed by her positive attitude and wide smile. Right from the start, she announced that she had flown in from India especially for the casting and that this was her first foreign trip in her life. When asked what she had prepared, she revealed that she loved , but it was quite boring, so she combined her choreography with elements of gymnastics to stand out from the crowd a bit. “I am a dancer, but I don’t want to be like everyone else,” she said. After a few more minutes of conversation, she asked for a break to prepare for the performance. At that time, everyone thought that she was changing into traditional costumes backstage. However, when the crew responsible for the set brought a wooden house with dolls attached to it onto the stage, they began to doubt it, and, as it quickly turned out, rightly so.
Arshiya stunned the “Mam Talent” judges. They compared her performance to scenes from “The Exorcist”
The very first sounds of the music accompanying the performance were already causing great anxiety. After a few seconds, Arshiya emerged from behind the aforementioned house in, to put it mildly, a terrifying make-up. Her face and outfit were covered in blood, and she also had white contact lenses, but her movements stirred the greatest emotions. The teenager twisted and writhed around the stage to the dark melody of the song “Ring Around the Rosie”, making faces straight out of a horror movie. The judges, as well as the audience, were shocked and at times covered their eyes in terror. “I don’t like it,” Sofia Vergara said during the performance. “Like,” Simon Cowell added.
When the show ended, the young woman received a standing ovation, although the faces of everyone in the audience showed consternation. “I thought you were going to come back with a nice dress,” Klum said. “This is the scariest, most terrifying dance recital I’ve ever seen,” said Howie Mandel. Cowell also echoed his predecessors’ sentiments, openly admitting that he had hoped for a Disney-style show. “You were so sweet, and then you came back like Linda Blair,” he said, referring to the actress who created the heroine of the aforementioned 1973 horror film.
Ultimately, Arshiya made it to the next round, receiving another thunderous applause. There was also no shortage of admiration in the comments under the recording of her performance posted on YouTube.
As a horror fanatic, I must admit that it scared me.
It was an original talent, without any sob story. She deserved a gold button.
She could be in movies like ‘Annabelle’ or ‘The Exorcist’. Directors please take this into consideration
