Zofia Zborowska gave birth to her second daughter on May 15. Together with her husband, they decided that the girl would be named Jaśmina. “On the name day of Nadziejka and Zosia, our second daughter Jaśminka was born. Brave Mom and Daughter are doing well! Both of them mainly sleep, eat and change diapers,” they announced with Andrzej Wrona on Instagram. Two months have passed since that day, and fans are asking if the parents baptized their daughters.

Parents in Poland are increasingly opting out of baptism. In 2023, the fewest baptisms were performed since church statistics began. Zofia Zborowska has never hidden her attitude to faith. Neither of them, along with her husband, participate in the life of the Church and are consistent in making decisions. They gave up a church wedding in favor of a civil one, did not baptize Nadzieja and do not plan to baptize Jaśmina.

“My adventure with Christianity ended with communion. Probably because it wasn’t my decision. I am in favor of people consciously approaching what they want to believe in, and whether at all. I believe in goodness and love (…). You can believe in whatever you want. Jesus, Allah, Buddha, the Great Spaghetti Creature. I don’t care as long as you are a good person,” she wrote on Instagram.
Celebrities who didn’t baptize their children
Zofia Zborowska and Andrzej Wrona are not the only stars who have decided not to baptize their children. The same decision was taken by Anna Mucha, Natalia Siwiec, Agnieszka Włodarczyk, Lara Gessler and Małgorzata Rozenek-Majdan and their partners.
“We leave the decision to our son. Let him make it consciously when he comes of age. If he analyzes what Małgosia said and wants to be baptized himself, he will do it. And if we did it today, he could hold a grudge against us one day,” Radosław Majdan explained in an interview with “Viva”.
