The festival enraged the residents of Warsaw. Shaking windows, frightened animals and crying children

After Sunday’s performances by artists during Clout Festival 2024, the event organizers were criticized by residents of housing estates located near the Służewiec Horse Racing Track. Internet users complained about the noise that made it impossible to function normally in the evening and at night.

Last weekend (July 13 and 14) the Clout Festival took place at the Służewiec Horse Racing Track. During the third edition of this event, the stage hosted performances by Playboi Carti, Gucci Man, Offset, Yung Lean, Rich Amiri and Osamason. Although the prices of tickets to the festival started at a staggering PLN 534.00 for the so-called Fan Pass (for comparison, 4 days of fun during the Open’er Festival 2024 cost PLN 949), there was no shortage of people willing to participate in the Clout Festival.

Scandal after Clout Festival

The problem was not the ticket prices themselves, but the noise coming from the Służewiec Horse Racing Track on Sunday evening. After yesterday’s concerts lasted until late at night (some internet users wrote that the music could still be heard at 2 a.m.), the Facebook profiles of “Clout Festival” and “Miasto Stołeczne Warszawa” were flooded with criticism. Internet users criticized the organizers for shaking windows and the noise that made it difficult to fall asleep even in locations a few kilometers away from the event.

“The Capital City of Warsaw is approaching 11 p.m. and at Obrzeżna the windows are shaking and it’s impossible to ventilate. This is a gross exaggeration. Can I ask for information on what dB level was permitted for this concert and how the city checks whether the organizer does not exceed the permissible standards!”

“Turn off this noise. People want to sleep and can’t be miles away from the Races,” wrote one internet user.

“This is called helplessness.. All windows closed, and still can’t get rid of this noise.. 4km from the concert.. My condolences to the nearby residents…”

“They are still playing at 2 am Monday. The music is so loud that the horses can’t stand the noise in the stable and 3 horses have already died…” – we read on Facebook.

There is also no shortage of footage online that illustrates the scale of the event itself. One internet user posted a several-second video on Tik Tok, which he claims he managed to record after 1 a.m.

Similar comments were posted by internet users under one of Clout Festival’s posts on Instagram, but it was deleted by the organizers. You can see the recordings from the event itself below.
