In June, HBO Max changed to Max, and platform customers received access to many new content and a choice of price packages along with the modifications. Preparations for the changes lasted almost a year. A month after the premiere of Max, we already know which productions available on the service were the most popular in Poland.

Max announced that it would provide subscribers with as much as 27 thousand hours of content, of which 25 percent were Polish productions. A month after the platform’s premiere, the service revealed which titles enjoyed the greatest interest from viewers.

The first place will probably not surprise anyone. Among the 15 most popular Max productions in the last month, “The Dragon’s Blood” triumphs. The second season of the popular series debuted right after the launch of the platform, which was a well-thought-out marketing move. Additionally, thanks to the popularity of “The Dragon’s Blood”, viewers started to reach for “Game of Thrones” from the same universe again. The series came seventh in the ranking. Second place belongs to the series “Skazana”. The last season of the series, which could be watched online until now via Player, has now landed on the Max platform. The podium is closed by the film “Sami swoi. The Beginning”, this year’s prequel to the cult trilogy and Artur Żmijewski’s feature debut as a director.

Thanks to the combination of Player and Max, the list of the most watched titles, apart from series and films, also includes programs known from television. Kuba Wojewódzki’s talk show came in 13th place, and “Kuchenne rewolucje” is the last one in the list. Statistics show that Max viewers are more likely to choose Polish productions. Eight out of 15 titles that were most frequently played on the platform in the last month were domestic productions. Below is the list of TOP15.

The premiere of the final season of “Szadzi” and a series from the Dune universe are also scheduled for 2024.
