Fraudsters stole Dawid Podsiadło’s voice
Dawid Podsiadło not only sings, but also talks to fans at concerts, fragments of his speeches are published online. In addition, the musician runs a podcast, appears in commercials, starred in a series and is active online. Obtaining fragments in which his voice can be heard not only in the form of singing is incredibly easy. Cybercriminals use this opportunity and, using artificial intelligence, create recordings of any content.
“Fraudsters impersonate people known in the media and try to persuade people to make false investments,” warns CSIRT KNF on the official account on the X portal. The entry features a short video in which Podsiadło’s artificially generated voice can be heard. In order to make the recording credible, the advert refers users to an article on a fake website, which in this case is identical to the News section on Gazeta.pl.
