For the seventh time, Uniejów has transformed into the capital of Earth Festival. This year’s edition of the pro-ecological event combined with a concert took place from 6 to 7 July 2024, gathering crowds both under the stage and in front of the televisions, because the whole thing was broadcast live by Telewizja Polsat and Polsat News. The biggest stars of the Polish stage also took part in the event, and the whole course was supervised by, among others, and Paulina Sykut-Jeżyna, acting as hosts.

As every year, the Earth Festival culminated in a Sunday concert. During the concert, legendary artists performed their greatest hits live on stage, including Majka Jeżowska, Alicja Majewska, as well as the younger generation of stars, such as Julia Pietrucha, Natalia Nykiel and Kamil Bednarek. The event was also graced by a performance by the Konin Gospel Choir and an orchestra conducted by Jan Stokłosa.
There is no denying that the most anticipated concert was the band’s. The musicians played with Stanisław Karpiel-Bułecka, known in the industry under the pseudonym Staszek z Gór, which, as we know, does not happen very often. When the festival host announced their performance, however, there was a slip-up. This, in turn, did not go unnoticed.

After the artists entered the stage, Ibisz announced that they would perform the traditional song “Hej bystra woda” together. When introducing them, he made a mistake about their relationship, calling Stanisław the cousin of the Zakopower leader. “Nephew,” he quickly corrected, but the host did not react to these words. Most likely, he did not even hear them, because when the vocalist took the floor, the other musicians had already started playing.
It is worth mentioning that the Karpiel-Bułecki clan is really big, so it is easy to make a mistake in this matter. Staszek z Gór is the son of Anna Bachleda-Curuś and Jan Karpiel-Bułecki, who in turn is the brother of Sebastian, the leader of Zakopower. Did you know that?
