Maciej Maleńczuk has already said twice that the musician does not deserve to fill stadiums. “I don’t like that Podsiadło fills stadiums, while Sanah can fill them. I don’t like Podsiadło. I think he’s mercantile to the core,” said the artist in an interview with Marcin Meller.
The interview had a wide resonance in Poland. Although Maleńczuk emphasized that Podsiadło was talented, his accusation that he performed unambitious music that did not deserve to fill stadiums offended not only the fans of the author of the hit “Małomiasteczkowy”. The former Budka Suflera vocalist has a different approach to young musicians. The artist emphasizes that for decades older generations have not understood the younger ones and that this is a natural course of events. In addition, the musician noted that commenting on colleagues from the industry in such a way is highly “inelegant”.

– I try not to envy anyone. Today, the times are different, the artists are different, and I find commenting on colleagues from the industry very inelegant. I heard some singer’s ramblings about Podsiadło – said Cugowski in an interview with the SportoweFakty portal.
– In English there is a good word for such behavior “disgusting”. You can’t do that. I am full of admiration for Podsiadło for using the opportunities that artists now have in this way – he added.
Krzysztof Cugowski admitted that he himself does not listen to Dawid’s music, but that is not a reason to criticize him. The musician emphasizes that contemporary artists sing for the young and there is no point in taking offense at that. – For my parents, what I did was also incomprehensible. Each decade has its artists and that is how this world functions – said the former vocalist of Budka Suflera.
