Although the Polish scene is constantly growing, with new groups and formations emerging all the time, only a few of them can boast the title of cult. This group undoubtedly includes the Hrabi cabaret, whose sketches are distinguished by their unconventional wit.
Who is part of the Hrabi cabaret? The group has been performing with the same line-up for over 20 years.
The Hrabi group was founded in late 2002 by Dariusz Kamys and J, who had previously performed in the student cabaret Potem. Some time later, Łukasz Pietsch and Krzysztof Szubzda joined the group, who gave way to Tomasz Majer after less than a year.
Their artistic debut is considered to be the program “Demo”, which they first presented on the stage of the Zielona Góra club “U Ojca”, causing a huge sensation among the audience. In the following years they created many equally successful musical projects and several television productions, including the improvised “Spadkobiercy”. They also have many awards and nominations under their belt, including 1st place and the DebeŚciaKa title won during the 7th Dąbrowska Ściema Kabaretowa.

Among the dozens of programs that the Hrabi cabaret has on its account, the one called “Egzamin” is undoubtedly considered the most cool. They presented it on many stages, including during “Kabaret na żywo” on Polsat in 2017. The recording of this performance was also posted on the YouTube platform and in terms of views it is one of the most watched, as it currently has over 13 million views.
