Piotr Gąsowski is one of the most popular Polish actors and presenters on Polish television. He has roles in productions such as “Bank nie z tej ziemi”, “Hela w opałach”, and “Magda M.”, and he also fulfilled himself as a juror on the Polsat program. He was born on April 16, 1964 in Mielec as the second son of Włodzimierz Gąsowski, a professor at the Poznań University of Technology, and Nina Gąsowska, a painter from Russia. How did his parents meet?

Gąsowski’s mother left her job to raise her son. She only found professional fulfillment when they were adults.

Few people know that the actor’s father studied at a technical university in Moscow in the mid-1950s. During an integration party at the dormitory where he lived at the time, he was attracted to a beautiful, artistically talented girl of his age. They started talking and a few days later they were inseparable. After only 3 years of knowing each other, they got married and then moved to Poland.

When her children grew up and left the nest, she could finally focus on herself. It was then that she decided to pursue her greatest passion, which her mother had instilled in her when she was still a little girl. So she began studies in the field, which she successfully completed, and shortly afterwards joined the Association of Visual Artists. She not only created paintings, but also dealt with artistic weaving and writing. Towards the end of her life, she published the book “Ekspres Moskwa – Milanówek”.
