Tickets for Metallica cost a fortune, but the band has prepared a surprise. Anyone can get in.

Metallica is already in Warsaw. The musicians will play two concerts in Poland as part of their ongoing tour. Not every fan could afford to buy extremely expensive tickets. However, the metal band’s visit to Poland is accompanied by other events, one of which can be attended without a ticket.

The long-awaited weekend for fans in Poland has begun. The metal legend will play two concerts at the PGE National Stadium in Warsaw. The first will take place on July 5, the second on July 7. The musicians are currently performing as part of a tour promoting their latest album “72 Seasons”.

Metallica at two concerts in Warsaw

During Metallica’s first concert in Poland, Mammoth WVH and Architects will appear on stage as support, and on the second day, Ice Nine Kills and Five Finger Death Punch will play. In addition to the performances, Metallica has prepared many more attractions for fans.

On Saturday, July 6, a day off from concerts, the so-called “Warsaw Takeover” will take place. As part of the event, fans of the metal legend can watch films dedicated to the band at Multikino in Złote Tarasy, go to a Rusty Head and The Legacy concert at the Proxima club in the evening, and also go to an author’s meeting with the legendary Metallica photographer, Ross Halfin.

Don’t have a ticket for Metallica in Warsaw? You can get in here for free

And that’s not the end of the attractions. From Wednesday, July 3 to Sunday, July 7, a temporary Pop-Up Shop was opened in the Praga Koneser Center. In a special room, you can take pictures in front of a specially prepared poster of the Warsaw concert, as well as buy unique band merchandise at promotional prices. What’s more, everyone entering the Pop-Up Shop receives a special coupon that allows you to win, among other things, tickets to the band’s concerts.

The Pop-UP Shop is free to enter, but there are restrictions on customers. Each visitor can only buy one of each of the available gadgets, and security does not allow anyone with large backpacks into the store. There are vinyls, records, T-shirts, pins, and even skateboards.

Interestingly, a portion of the proceeds from every Metallica concert ticket sold will go to the band’s All Within My Hands foundation. Founded in 2017, AWMH seeks to help and support members of the community. The organization has raised nearly $13 million – distributing $5.9 million in grants to career and technical education programs in the U.S., over $2.5 million to combat food insecurity, and over $3.2 million to disaster relief around the world.
