In the summer, Park Moczydło is one of the most popular places in Warsaw. Residents can relax in the outdoor swimming pool complex. Unfortunately, it is not safe there now. A thief is on the loose in the center.

The Moczydło Centre is located at ul. Górczewska 69/73 in Warsaw. There are many attractions there: a summer swimming pool, a football pitch, a multi-purpose pitch, concrete ping-pong tables, a beach football pitch and beach volleyball courts. When it gets hot outside, Warsaw residents flock to Wola. Unfortunately, recently many people have lost a valuable thing there.

they take advantage of the fact that people leave their things by the sun loungers, blankets or by the pool and go swimming or play football. Contrary to appearances, they did not target phones, wallets and watches. Flip-flops became their prey. But we’re not talking about just any shoes, but the Adidas Yeezy Slide model. They were designed by rapper Kany West. They cost from PLN 300 to PLN 1,400, depending on the collection and color.

People resting at Moczydło suddenly realized that they were missing. They went to the guard point and asked to check the cameras. Unfortunately, the guard refused because he stated that according to the regulations, he is not responsible for things left unattended.

Warsaw residents returned home barefoot. The perpetrators of the theft were not found.

– According to him, security is not there to guard things, but to make sure that no one is drinking alcohol and that there are no fights – said one of the injured in an interview with warszawa.wyborcza.pl. People whose shoes were stolen had to return home barefoot. The swimming pool complex manager Paweł Wiśniewski spoke. – We are taking the matter very seriously. An external company dealing with the protection of the facility analyzed the recordings from cameras covering the area where the incidents took place, but with such a large turnout it was not possible to identify the people who misappropriated other people’s property – he explained. After the whole situation, the Wola police appealed not to leave things unattended and to ask, for example, a person resting nearby to keep an eye on them.
