According to the report by the Biletyna.pl service, the most interesting summer music festival that you can go to in Poland is Mêskie Granie. In second place was the currently ongoing Open’er, which was voted for by 29% of respondents. The report also included what most bothers Polish festival goers in spending time at summer concerts.
Open’er is underway. Food prices have gone up, with one exception
A large group complained in surveys about the prices of drinks and food at outdoor concerts (29 percent of respondents). It is no wonder that you can see many posts online outraged by the cost of food during festivals. And here we have to accept the fact that Open’er is one of the most popular, but also the most expensive festivals in Poland in every respect.
According to Business Insider Polska, prices in hotels in Gdynia have even tripled since the festival started. The ticket for the event alone cost almost PLN 1,150 this year, and you have to add food to your budget. This year’s prices in food trucks at Open’er may be shocking, but not as much as the fact that one of the dishes was CHEAP.
French fries at Open’er are one zloty cheaper
As reported by , Belgian fries at this year’s Open’er can be bought for PLN 24. Two years ago, the festival goers’ delicacy cost PLN 20, but last year the meal was priced at PLN 25 (as reported on HAPS’s Instagram), which means that the snack has become cheaper by ZŁOTY. The change may not be huge, but among the pessimistic articles about receipts of horror from the Polish seaside, it is worth mentioning!
The WP website assures that this year, prices at Open’er have “jumped symbolically”, so the shock for festival-goers is much smaller than last year. The website’s journalist also managed to find the most expensive dish at the event. It was a burger with pastrami marinated for two weeks. The cost? 55 zlotys. The cheapest snack available at the festival was a jelly candy for just eight zlotys.
