A few weeks ago, a confession from one of the contestants on the show “Mam talent” stirred up discussion in the media. The woman had a grudge against the judges for how she felt she was treated during the audition. The accusations of hate were opposed by Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak, who hosted the talent show at the time.
She tells what happened behind the scenes of “The Voice of Poland”. “I cried many times”
Situations in which participants of television programs shared their experiences related to participating in a given production are of course not uncommon. In the past, we have already seen the backstage of “Totalne remonty Szelągowska” or even the dating show “Rolnik szuka zy”. This time it was time for “The Voice of Poland”. A recording about the program was posted online by Krista, a member of the eLove band, who took part in the 13th edition of the music show.
The participant’s feelings about the participation itself were, however, completely different from those shared with Internet users by the guitarist of “Mam talent”. At the stage of assigning coaches, Krista was assigned to the Lanberry team, in which she quickly found her place. “I was shocked by the family atmosphere, mutual support. I really felt like I was taking part in one big party,” she began.
The pleasant atmosphere, however, did not go hand in hand with the pace of work. According to the participant, it was very dynamic. “You get a song, and in two hours you have to sing it. And there was no choice, you had to learn it quickly… Every day we had vocal teachers who were ready to help us at any time of the day or night. It was great. I remember asking for advice at 3 a.m. and I got an answer,” Krista recounts.
The time pressure that the show’s participants struggled with, however, was associated with a huge flood of emotions. “I often couldn’t hold back my emotions and sometimes I cried, but then I had to control myself, because the show must go on,” said the participant, adding that she was very surprised to be right next to TV stars backstage. “A big surprise was that everyone was being painted next to me — stars, coaches and participants,” she added.
