It was first held in 2002 and although it looked completely different then than it does now, it almost immediately aroused huge interest among listeners. Since then, it has been organized every year and today we can say with full conviction that it is one of the biggest music shows in Poland. Each subsequent edition attracts real stars and thousands of listeners to the Gdynia-Kosakowo airport, wanting to see and listen to them live. This time will be no different, although it is already known that the one planned for months will undergo a significant change.
These stars will perform at the Open’er festival. The 2024 line-up will be different than expected
From July 3 to 6, 2024, Gdynia will once again transform into a music capital. The Open’er line-up includes concerts by nearly 70 artists from around the world. Stars such as Foo Fighters, , Doja Cat, Hozier and , will perform their greatest hits. Polish performers will also be present, including Natalia Przybysz, Tomasz Makowiecki, Dawid Tyszkowski, The Rubens, PRO8L3M Otsochodzi and Daria ze Śląska.
Although the event has not yet started, it is already stirring up huge emotions. This is because festival goers are receiving not necessarily positive news. Just one day before the festival started, it turned out that the beloved and eagerly awaited duet and the South African singer were dropping out of the schedule.
Open’er 2024. Artists withdraw from performances. Reason given
First, the organizers informed fans via social media that the American duo Sofi Tukker had unexpectedly canceled their performance, which was supposed to take place on July 6, the last day of . As it turned out, one of the band members, Tucker Halpern, fell ill, which is the official reason for the withdrawal from the event. The artists also spoke out on the matter, posting an official statement and apology online.

Fans do not hide their disappointment with the unexpected changes in the line-up. A lot of bitter comments appeared under the entry on the official Open’er Festival profile.
