A passer-by recorded the incident, and the video quickly went viral. “They didn’t care about the presence of passers-by or the fact that someone might be recording them, especially since the balcony railing is transparent and what’s happening on it is clearly visible from the other side of the street, where a frequently visited grocery store is located,” said the man, quoted by gniezno24.com.
Many people were outraged by the couple’s behavior. “Simply shameful. As provided for in Article 140 of the Code of Petty Offenses: “Anyone who publicly commits an indecent prank shall be subject to the penalty of arrest, restriction of freedom, a fine of up to PLN 1,500 or a reprimand.” The case was commented on by the spokeswoman for the police in Gniezno, Anna Osińska.
