Błaszczykowski wrote to the daughter of an activist of the club where he played, who was a few years younger than her, under the pretext of giving his friend’s telephone number. – When I told him, he wrote directly whether we would meet. In 2005, when Błaszczykowski changed the club’s colors and started training at Wisła Kraków, they became a couple. Just before the footballer left for Germany with a transfer to Borussia Dortmund, an engagement took place. – When he decided to move to Dortmund and asked me to go with him, my father stepped in. “But how do you imagine that? How will you go to Germany? As who? For what?” he asked. I told Kuba and then he proposed. I don’t know if he wanted to, but he had no choice – recalled Błaszczykowski’s chosen one years later. In 2010, the couple said their sacramental “yes”, and a year later they welcomed their first child, daughter Oliwia.
