Krystyna Janda’s life is almost as colorful as the productions she has produced. In the latest interview, the actress recalled the dispute she had years ago with Ewa Demarczyk. was still a student at the Warsaw theater school when she received her debut role in the cinema production of “Man of Marble” directed by . The role of Agnieszka brought her instant popularity among viewers and critical acclaim, which is why she can now be considered one of the most popular actresses in the domestic industry. Grechuta entered Janda into the festival in Opole. It was his song that she performed, making her debut on stage

In the latest interview for the “Another Side of the World” podcast, Janda decided to go back to one of her first professional performances on stage. In 1977, he suggested that she present her vocal skills during the 15th edition and sing the song “Chewing Gum”, which he wrote and composed. – He played four chords, I repeated them, he said: “Okay, you’re singing in Opole in a month, (…) because I have to put someone on the list and there are 3 minutes until closing time,” she said. “It was absolutely crazy,” she said.

She didn’t hide the fact that it was an incredibly intense and exciting time for her. She was a fresh graduate of the theatre school and just after the premiere of “Man of Marble”, and her career was already gaining momentum. Although she was working on the set of three more productions at almost the same time, she had no intention of giving up her performance in Opole. Quite the opposite. She was intensively preparing for her debut on stage under the watchful eye of the best in the profession. For this reason, she regularly came to Krakow, where an unpleasant incident and, as she claims, a beating took place.

Janda recalls meeting Ewa Demarczyk. Was she beaten by the singer?

The bride’s performance at such a prestigious festival did not please everyone in the industry. One of these dissatisfied people was apparently Ewa Demarczyk. When their accidental meeting took place, the singer did not bite her tongue. – In the meantime, she beat me in Krakow. She was passionate about something – she recalled in the podcast. The reason for her outrage was apparently the fact that the actress received a song by her close friend Halina Wyrodek. – She found out that I was supposed to sing a song by her friend from Piwnica pod Baranami and she hit me. Piotr Skrzynecki grabbed her and dragged her out of the room, she said, adding that until that moment she wasn’t even aware that she had “taken” someone’s song.

This whole situation increased her stress and made her extremely reluctant to go on stage and sing in front of the audience. – I didn’t want to get on stage because I suddenly saw 5,000 people. people and I grabbed the radiator. I said I wouldn’t leave, Janda said. The help of Włodzimierz Korcz turned out to be invaluable, as they almost pushed her onto the stage by force, otherwise she would probably have given up the performance altogether.
