The audience guessed wrong in “Millionaires”, the player lost. He admitted that he was afraid of such questions

Listening to the audience’s suggestions in “Millionaires” does not always pay off. Mr. Kamil from Zduñska Wola found out about this, and instead of the guaranteed amount of PLN 40,000, he left the studio with an amount that was PLN 39,000 lower.

In one of the episodes of “” Mr. Kamil from Zduńska Wola turned out to be unrivaled in the task “first come, first served”. Which happens rather rarely, he was the only one to arrange the answers in the right order. The task required the player to count very quickly in his head and consisted of indicating the correct order of the results of operations.

“Millionaires”. The audience got the wrong idea and he ended up with a thousand zlotys

At the beginning, the game show participant was going like a storm. It turned out that he was not afraid of questions from various fields of knowledge. Without any major problems, he reached the question worth PLN 10,000, which asked him to indicate a cosmetic to which the alternative was BB cream. – I admit it, I have no idea, but there is hope in the form of a phone call to a friend – he admitted on the show.

Fortunately, Mrs. Monika, the player’s work colleague, had no problem answering. Without hesitation, she indicated the correct variant “D”, i.e. “for the backing track”, thanks to which Mr. Kamil could continue playing for a million. The “Millionaires” participant encountered further problems when asked about the guaranteed sum – PLN 40,000.

“‘It has already bounced, it is already flowing!’ – this is how the poem by Kazimierz Wierzyński from the volume “Olympic Laurel” begins, dedicated to:” – read Hubert Urbański and asked the player to indicate the answer. Mr. Kamil had to choose from option A – swimming, B – ski jumping, C – pole vaulting and D – football. The participant admitted that he was particularly afraid of questions about poems and songs.

Two lifebuoys did not help. The participant listened to the audience unnecessarily

He decided that this was not the time to take risks and used a lifeline – a question to the audience. Those gathered in the studio seemed to be quite resolute. More than half of the respondents indicated that Wierzyński’s poem was about swimming, the least votes were received by the answer “D”, i.e. football. Mr. Kamil, however, was not willing to trust half of the voters and asked for another lifeline – fifty-fifty.

As a result, the system rejected two incorrect answers, and the player had to choose between variants “A” and “B”. When it turned out that the answer chosen by the audience remained in the game, Mr. Kamil decided to mark it. Unfortunately, more than half of the people gathered in the studio were wrong. Kazimierz Wierzyński’s poem refers to pole vaulting. Despite great and careful play, Mr. Kamil left the studio with a thousand złoty in his account.
