The first part of the refreshed series about the extraordinary was a cinema hit. It attracted a record 2.9 million viewers. In turn, on the streaming platform it reached viewers in 190 countries and several dozen language groups. No wonder the creators do not rest on their laurels and announce further installments of the production.
The second film in the series will hit theaters on January 3, 2025. However, the first pre-premiere screenings will start this year – similarly to the first part at Christmas. Thanks to the production “Kleks i nalazek Filipa Golarz” directed by Maciej Kawulski, the title character Ambroży Kleks, Ada Niezgódka and Albert will return to the screens. We will also meet a completely new, but key to the plot, character. The role is played by Janusz Chabior, who is difficult to recognize in the photos promoting the film.
“The Blot and the Invention of Filip Golarz” will hit cinemas in 2025. What will it be about?
“After the summer break, Ada Niezgódka returns to the Academy to unravel the mystery of the origins of her friend Albert. At the same time, Professor Kleks sets off to the real world to find his friend from years ago. It turns out that both of these clues lead to a former graduate of the Academy – Filip called Golarz” – we read in the description of the film’s plot.
– I waited a while, but finally in the trilogy “Mr. Kleks’ Academy” the character of Filip Golarz, whom I had the pleasure of playing, appears in full. Filip returns to take revenge for rejected love and the humiliation he experienced at the Academy. Will he manage to destroy the Academy? I know what will happen, and viewers have to wait until January 3 and the official premiere – says Janusz Chabior, who plays the new but key hero of the story.
“He played it so well that I was afraid of him”
In an interview with Marta Korycka from Gazeta.pl, Tomasz Kot also talked about the new character from the next installment of Mr. Kleks’ adventures. – He played it so well (because I didn’t feel it on the set) that when I saw fragments now, I was afraid of him – the actor admits with a laugh after watching fragments of the joint production, talking about Chabior in the role of Filip Golarz.
