Parks are spaces appreciated in cities where, without much planning for a trip or a long commute, you can spend time among greenery and trees. Many of them also have cafes and areas with attractions, both for children (swings, slides) and other visitors. We are talking about, among others, hammocks and deckchairs, which we can see more and more often. In the summer they are visited by many people. Some of them decide to sunbathe. Is this behavior allowed?
Can you sunbathe in the park? First, pay attention to the regulations
The issue of sunbathing in public places other than has always aroused extreme emotions. There is no shortage of both supporters and absolute opponents of such behavior. However, if you’re at the park and want to soak up some sun before shedding your frills and stretching out on a towel in your swimsuit, it is worth familiarizing yourself with the regulations of a given areabecause sometimes you will find clear rules regarding behavior during your visit.

As for legal issues, in the event of a summons, they must approach each situation individually, as they only have Article 140 of the Petty Offenses Code at their disposal. We can read in it that people who commit indecent behavior in public are subject to:
- penalty of arrest,
- restrictions on freedom,
- fines up to PLN 1,500,
- or be punished with a reprimand.
