A brutal murder took place in Gortatów near Poznań. On June 19, 2024, the body of 39-year-old Natalia was found in the Cybina Valley. The financial advisor disappeared on June 14. The woman’s 60-year-old husband confessed to the murder. Now Poznań’s “Gazeta Wyborcza” has revealed that investigators, among others, were able to locate the perpetrator. a message that the 39-year-old attached to her will.

After five days of searching, the police discovered the body of 39-year-old Natalia in a forest complex north of Poznań. Although Adam R. himself reported his wife’s disappearance at the police station, the police suspected from the beginning that the man was lying about the whole situation in many respects – we read in the Poznań newspaper. Investigators immediately started searching the man’s house, computer and car, but a short letter left by the 39-year-old aroused their greatest suspicions.

It’s about an envelope that the financial advisor left at work. The police find her thanks to Ms. Natalia’s friend, with whom she worked in the same office building in the center of Poznań. The envelope contained a will in which Mrs. Natalia omitted her husband and left the entire estate to her 10-year-old son.

The 39-year-old attached a short message to her will: if something happens to her, her husband should be suspected. The woman also wanted her husband to never find the envelope in question – we learn from the daily’s reports.

At the beginning, Adam R. argued that he had nothing to do with his wife’s disappearance. In his latest report, “Gazeta Wyborcza” reporter Piotr Żytnicki recreated step by step the actions and findings of the Poznań police regarding the disappearance of 39-year-old Natalia. Investigators managed to solve the case of her disappearance in five days – he informs in the text. Adam R. testified that when he woke up in the morning on June 14, his wife was no longer at home. Only her car was left in the garage, and her phone was turned off. He revealed that his wife had previously informed him that she wanted to end their relationship and had even announced a divorce. He added that she was dating someone else.

– he allegedly told the police. However, investigators quickly managed to determine that her phone had not been logged in recently, and the woman was not in any nearby hospital. Two days after her disappearance, the police already suspected that the 39-year-old’s husband was not telling the whole truth. In the course of their activities, they found a man whom the woman had met through a dating application a month before she went missing. She planned to leave her husband and get involved with him.

She said her husband was poisoning her

They determined that she had been on a date with him just before she disappeared. The police located the man, but quickly excluded him from the group of suspects: after the meeting, he returned to his home and never left it, what’s more, he tried unsuccessfully to call the 39-year-old woman. The man confessed that his partner was afraid of her husband. She complained of feeling unwell and suspected that her husband was poisoning her. However, she didn’t tell anyone about it except her friends, she had no evidence.

The police also drew attention to the fact that “a week before the disappearance, Adam’s 90-year-old mother received an eviction notice. Natalia wanted the court to order her mother-in-law to move out. Perhaps she assumed that Adam would move out with her,” writes “Wyborcza”.

The analysis of city monitoring recordings showed that on the day of the disappearance of the 39-year-old mother and wife, the car belonging to Adam R. at approximately At 2 a.m. he left their shared home in Gortatów. The police quickly traced the entire route of the car, which led to the body of the murdered woman. She had strangulation marks on her neck.

The perpetrator faces life imprisonment

The police detained 60-year-old Adam R., who pleaded guilty. During a local visit, he allegedly confessed that he killed his wife when she returned home around midnight. There was an argument between the spouses, and more precisely, the perpetrator stated that her words had upset him. At one point, R. hit the woman and started choking her. Their 10-year-old son was in the house during the murder.

The 60-year-old faces life imprisonment. “The court arrested Adam for three months. During the hearing, he said that he wanted to submit to the highest penalty. He added that he could not imagine returning home because his son would not forgive him.
