They selected the worst films of the decade. There are as many as 3 Polish titles in the TOP10, including 2 at the top of the list

Recent years have been full of many excellent productions awarded with prestigious awards, but there have also been some that did not delight either viewers or even critics. Letterboxd has prepared a ranking of the worst films of this decade. The TOP10 list includes as many as three titles from Polish authors.

Letterboxd is a website created in 2011, bringing together millions of cinema fans from all over the world. It is on the basis of votes cast by users for individual productions that the rankings are created, considered to be among the most reliable in the industry. Now the list of this decade has been made available, i.e. those that debuted on screens from January 1, 2020. What titles were on the list? There won’t be any surprises.

It is impossible not to notice that in the era of increasing popularity, cinemas have become a thing of the past. In the race for the title of the platform with the most extensive offer, we forget about creating ambitious films that will delight the viewer, focusing on their quantity, not quality. This is partly why the list of the worst films of the last decade is so extensive and focuses almost exclusively on titles that debuted online and not on big screens. It included, among others: as many as four productions from the “After” series, the 2021 installment and the loudly promoted horror film “Pooh: Blood and Honey”. The list also includes Polish accents.
