“Ice Age” is undoubtedly one of the most iconic animations. Its success in Poland was determined not only by its engaging plot and funny lines, but also by its excellent dubbing. Although most people can easily identify the actors who spoke the voices of Sid or Diego, in Mañek’s case there are difficulties.

“Ice Age” premiered on big screens in 2002 and quickly won the hearts of both young and old viewers. Although there have been four equally successful sequels so far, the original is still the most popular. A galaxy of the biggest stars took part in the production of the Polish one, lending their voices to the main characters. he spoke as Diego, played Sid, and Jarosław Boberek played Zeke. And who spoke as the mammoth Manfred?

It turns out that Mańek from “Ice Age” was flawlessly played by Wojciech Malajkat, whose voice was liked by the viewers so much that he also played this character in all subsequent parts. However, this is not surprising, because he has already successfully performed in dubbing. He has lent his voice to the characters of such productions as “Love and War”, “The World of Peter the Rabbit and His Friends” and “Tytus, Romek and A’Tomek among the Dream Thieves”.

His most famous incarnation in animation, right after the famous Manfred, is Puss in Boots in several versions of the equally hit movie. He also played this role in two separate productions devoted to the hero’s adventures and telling about the times before he met the famous green ogre.

Wojciech Malajkat is one of the most versatile Polish actors. He studied at the Łódź Film School, which he successfully graduated in 1986. After defending his diploma, he performed on the stage of many theaters, including: National, Studio and Syrena. He is also great in front of the camera, and has produced many productions on the small and big screen.

The most popular ones include “With Fire and Sword”, “Cesarean Section”, “Maids and Widows”, “Satan from the Seventh Grade” and the “Letters to M” series. However, this is still not the end of his artistic achievements. The Malaykat is considered a talented director in the community. He made his debut in this role in 2007, when he created the film “Free Rider” with Maria Maj in the main roles.

He was also responsible for performances such as “Hypnoza” at the Bajka Theater in Warsaw, “Shame” staged at the Contemporary Theater and “Prawda” at Garnizon Sztuki.
