An extraordinary place that delights not only with its wonderful nature. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the Polish coast. You can walk across the sea to Hel and relax on the sandy beach. Foreign resorts may envy us such views.

Promontory Rewski, also known as Szpyrk or Szperek, is a kilometer-long sandy section that juts into the waters of the Bay of Puck near the town of Rewa. From Gdynia we can get here in just 20 minutes, while from Gdańsk it will take us about 40 minutes. There are also special buses leaving from Rumia, Puck and Gdynia to the headland.

Is it possible to go from Rewa to Hel? The “herring march” is one of the greatest attractions of this region

Promontory Rewski separates the Bay of Puck from the Bay of Gdańsk and looks most beautiful from a bird’s eye view. It is available to tourists all year round, and the biggest attraction of this place is the so-called Herring March, a several-hour walk to Hel. The march takes place in water about a meter deep (the exception is a place called the abyss, which you have to swim through because the water is about five meters deep).

It is very windy on the headland, but it is worth going to this place to sunbathe or take a walk along the sandy embankment. In Rewa you will find a promenade, a pier and two. This is a great place for kitesurfing fans, thanks to the sea currents and wind. Water sports enthusiasts will also find something for themselves, as there is an equipment rental and instructors in the town.

What is worth seeing in Rewa? Beautiful nature is not everything

In the area there is the Seaside Landscape Park, the Beka Reserve and Mechlińskie Meadows. Here you will find beautiful views and rare species such as the sandpiper and the little tern. There is also a shipwreck cemetery in Rewa, a treat for diving fans. Ships steeped in mystery and abandoned underwater are sure to make an impression. If you feel like it, vote in our poll below.
