Although they belong to the premises, are its inseparable part and our property (with a few exceptions), it cannot be denied that they have a completely different status than the interior of the apartment. Which means that not everything you can freely do inside can also be done on the balcony. There has been a lot of talk about it for some time now. However, this is not the only problem that appears especially in summer.

Can you get a fine for sunbathing on the balcony? On one condition

Although it sounds absurd, sunbathing on the balcony may result in a fine. However, there is a specific situation at stake. Sunbathing may result in a fine if you take off your clothes and costume and decide to go out on the balcony topless or in an Eve costume. Such behavior may be considered indecent, and the city guard or police called by your neighbors may give you a ticket, and not just any one.

What should you not do on the balcony? Not only sunbathing is blacklisted

Sunbathing au naturel is not the only activity that should not be done on the balcony. Many rules, prohibitions and orders are set by housing communities and cooperatives. Therefore, it is worth taking a look at the regulations first of all. However, there are things that are prohibited by law. What should you not do on the balcony?

• You cannot light a barbecue. A charcoal grill not only poses a serious fire hazard, but also produces smoke that is bothersome to neighbors. Lighting a barbecue may result in a fine, and in the worst case (if a fire breaks out), even 12 years in prison.
• You cannot throw away garbage and cigarette butts. Throwing garbage and pets onto the courtyard, lawn or sidewalk under the balcony seems obvious, but littering may also be considered beating a blanket or carpet. Effect? PLN 500 fine or reprimand.
