The moving story about Martin is not only an accurate study of the disease. It is also an attempt to show the consequences of living in a world where intimacy is a shameful taboo for many men. Viewers loved the title. On Rotten Tomatoes, “Na rauszu” still maintains a score of 90 percent fresh from viewers and 93 from critics.

Critics praise the creators for the self-awareness of the production and its depth.

“The last scene is one of the best you will see this year,” wrote Briana Subielles from InSession Film after the film’s premiere. Keith Garlington from the Online Film Critics Society predicted that the production had little chance of success with such a difficult topic. In his review, he was surprised that the title “managed not to botch”.
