At the same time as the changes, many programs disappeared from the air, while others were subject to thorough metamorphoses. There are also many completely new formats in the schedules of individual channels. Some time ago, the station announced that on June 23, 2024, the TVP Info program would be joined by the working title “Info Biznes” with Marc Kowalski as the host, and now it turns out that a different format will premiere earlier.
TVP Info announces a new program. They will be its hosts
According to Wirtualne Media, TVP Info’s schedule will be expanded to include the “Sprawdzamy” program, the main theme of which will be analyzing the veracity of information provided by or people claiming to be experts. The premiere episode will debut on Sunday at 5:30 p.m., it will also be a permanent broadcast date, and an hour later viewers will see the previously mentioned “Info Biznes”.
Witold Tabaka and Juliusz Głuski-Schimmer were chosen as the hosts of the magazine. In addition to reporting materials, they will also browse social media in search of fake news, as well as conduct interviews with experts invited to the studio. A permanent feature of each issue will also be the “Alphabet of Propaganda”, which will focus on warning against methods aimed at manipulating public opinion.

Let us recall that both Głuski-Schimmer and Tabaka lost their jobs at TVP as a result of the so-called a good change introduced by the PiS government. They renewed their cooperation with the station at the end of 2023, right after the government changed in the country after the parliamentary elections. The first of them is the publisher of the “19.30” program, while the second serves as its reporter and also runs journalistic and information channels on TVP Info.
For them, the common magazine is a way to face what they have experienced firsthand, which is why they feel a sense of mission to raise awareness of society on this issue. – Our program will educate, warn, but also verify information and show how to distinguish true from false, which is part of the mission of public television – Tabaka announced in an interview with the portal. The presenter’s on-screen partner added that not only they, but also the viewers will have a significant influence on the creation of subsequent episodes, encouraging their involvement. – We want the program to be as interactive as possible, we will have a strong presence on social media, and we also count on information from our viewers who have been misled, picked up on politicians’ lies or have been robbed on the Internet, he said.
