Howie Mandel, a juror on “America’s Got Talent,” talked about his wife’s accident on the show
– We had fun. We went a bit overboard. She was tipsy. I didn’t realize when she got up at night and wanted to go somewhere. But instead she hit the wall – the 68-year-old began his story. – She fell and hit the wainscoting, hitting herself and falling in the eye. She fell to the floor and broke her cheekbone.
Mandel showed viewers a drastic photo of his wife, showing a cut on her forehead and dark purple bruises around her eyes. When the “Got Talent” juror turned on the light, he saw his beloved in a “pool of blood around her head.” – You could see her skull – noted the 68-year-old.
“You could see her skull”
No wonder Howie Mandel was horrified by what he saw. – Blood was flowing, I panicked. I picked her up and put her on the bed. Everything was bloody. I was beyond jokingly scared, he emphasized. The “Got Talent” juror collected all the towels from the hotel, then his wife spoke up. “Bring me some ice,” she asked.
Mandel told how he took cans of cold drinks from a small refrigerator. Apparently, when he called the hotel staff, instead of calling an ambulance, they sent 10 security guards to the couple’s room to check if there had been a beating. When the situation was clarified, Mandel’s wife was taken to hospital. The 68-year-old assures that his loved one is doing much better, and there is no trace left of the accident.
