It is impossible not to notice that recently productions from Polish creators have completely taken over Netflix viewers. Currently, as many as five of them are in the TOP10 most popular on the platform. The first three places are taken by the comedy-drama and the crime story “Colors of Evil. Red” based on the best-selling novel by Małgorzata Oliwia Sobczak. In turn, the family film “Too Big for Fairy Tales 2” took 6th place, while the first part of “In-Laws” took 8th place. And everything indicates that another title will soon join this collection.
We are talking about the series comedy “Inheritance” directed by Sylwester Jakimow, the premiere of which is announced on June 19, 2024. The plot tells the story of a family that, after the death of a rich uncle, comes to his estate full of secrets to get their share of the inheritance. However, there will be drama and unusual plot twists. The success is due not only to the crazy plot, but also to the star cast. The main roles were played by, among others: Maciej Stuhr, Gabriela Muskała, Joanna Trzepiecińska, Jan Peszek and .

This is still not the end of surprises. On June 18, the Netflix library will debut the Korean “Mystery Investigators”, in which six people will solve paranormal puzzles, and the documentary “Outside the Box: Comedy Revolution”, presenting the history of queer stand-up as a tool for change in society. The next day will be no less exciting. The website purchased a license for “Czarna”, a documentary devoted to three black women from Mattel who influenced the revolutionary change of the most popular doll around the world.
The premiere will also include the Spanish thriller “Gangs of Galicia” about a lawyer who seeks revenge on her father’s murderers, as well as the 2nd season of the Taiwanese series “The Victim’s Game” about a criminologist with Asperger’s syndrome who discovers his daughter’s connections with mysterious murders. The novelty will be the American action thriller “Veteran”, the script of which was based on a story by Otep Shamayi, with Jessica Alba and Anthony Michael Hall in the main roles.
