Shooting at a concert. There are victims and wounded

The shooting took place on Saturday before midnight near Austin, Texas, USA. As a result of the incident, two people died and six others were injured.

Last Saturday, Round Rock near Austin celebrated Juneteenth, commemorating the final abolition of slavery in the United States. An argument broke out between two groups of people during the concert, as reported by Round Rock Sheriff Allen Banks.

A few moments after the argument, the conflict escalated and shots were fired at the event participants. As a result, two people died on the spot. According to the experts’ preliminary assessment, they were not involved in the quarrel. Six injured people, including two children, were taken to a hospital in Austin-Travis County.

There was also a shooting last weekend in Michigan. In one of the parks in Detroit, an armed man approached a water curtain where children and their parents were staying, and then opened fire. As a result of this incident, nine people were injured, including two children.

“An eight-year-old boy who was shot in the head is in critical condition, his four-year-old brother is in stable condition with a leg wound, and their mother was wounded in the stomach and leg,” said Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard. According to the services’ findings, the attacker opened fire as many as 28 times. When the police arrived at his house to arrest the perpetrator, he was already dead. He most likely committed suicide earlier.
