Olejnik snorted and covered her face after the KO MP’s words. PiS MP: You’re talking nonsense

During a lively discussion in the last episode of “Kropka nad i”, MP from the Civic Coalition, Marta Wcis³o, made a big mistake. This did not escape the attention of Waldemar Buda from PiS, who took the opportunity to mock the guest Monika Olejnik.

In the last edition of “Kropka nad i” she hosted Marta Wcisło from the Civic Coalition and Waldemar Buda from Law and Justice. The discussion began with the issue of elections to the European Parliament. The guests exchanged accusations about their election campaigns. The conversation also moved smoothly to the issues of the country’s security and events on the Polish-Belarusian border and the incorrect management of the Justice Fund, then the guests began to discuss the disputes over diplomats that are taking place between the government and the president.

The KO MP’s slip-up in “Kropka nad i”. “You’re talking nonsense”

Monika Olejnik asked those present in the studio about ambassador Ryszard Schnepf. Andrzej Duda announced that as long as he holds his office, he will not sign an ambassadorial nomination to the United States, neither for the mentioned diplomat nor for Bogdan Klich. The president justified the decision by Schnepf’s origins. – Minister (of Foreign Affairs) Radosław Sikorski wants to recall from the embassy in Lisbon the ambassador (Joanna) Pilecka, who is a younger relative of Captain Pilecki, but he very much wants to send as a Polish ambassador Mr. Schnepf, whose father, together with the Soviets, participated in the Augustów Roundup against the Poles – he emphasized.

At the same time, the host touched on the topic of the Polish ambassador in Washington, Marek Magierowski, who is leaving his post. Marcin Mastalerek, head of the President’s Office, commented on the matter and assured that the president had no intention of dismissing Magierowski from his position. – [Donald Tusk – przyp. red.] he would like ambassadors to be ambassadors of the government, and preferably ambassadors of the Civic Platform. I hope that finally, after the defeat that occurred in the Third Way and the Left, the gentlemen and ladies from the Third Way and the Left will stop agreeing to such anti-state policies of Donald Tusk and Radosław Sikorski and they will finally say: hello, then he is the ambassador of the Republic of Poland, he is not the ambassador of the party, the Sejm must decide, the government must decide and the president must decide – said the head of Andrzej Duda’s cabinet.

Monika Olejnik couldn’t stand it and burst out laughing. “You have confused two different people”

Olejnik asked the KO MP if she thought it was good that Magierowski was leaving office. – Scandalous information for me – said Wcisło. The answer surprised Monika Olejnik, who began to dig deeper into the topic. – It’s scandalous behavior of the president to interfere so deeply – argued the MP from the Civic Coalition. Those present in the studio began to guess that the politician had mixed up the topics and names.

– But is it good that Mr. Magierowski is leaving the position of ambassador in Washington? – Olejnik clarified. – Madam MP, do you know Magierski? – Buda joined in the conversation with amusement. – I know. And I know his family history. However, I believe that these issues should be resolved… – it became clear that Wcisło had confused the cases of Magierowski and Schnepf, which amused those present in the studio.

– You’re talking nonsense – Buda commented and started laughing – You’ve confused two different people – he added. Monika Olejnik couldn’t stand it and burst out laughing, then covered her face with her hands. She quickly moved on to the next topic to maintain the substantive level of the discussion.
