The parliamentary elections of October 2023 influenced not only changes in the functioning of the state, but also the public broadcaster. When the coalition came to power in December, personnel changes began almost immediately. The revolution was widely reported in the media, both high-ranking directors and presenters responsible for the propaganda messages that appeared on the air for 8 years lost their positions. However, this was not the end, but only the beginning.
How much do TVP directors earn? They requested data. They waited several months for an answer
In recent days, there has been a lot of talk about the earnings of the former president of TVP, who was supposed to have earned as much as PLN 4,637,000 while holding this position during his government. PLN 223 gross. The case also attracted attention, as the current owners of the station submitted a notification to the prosecutor’s office regarding her employment. It would seem that the situation is slowly starting to stabilize, and the current managers are trying to sort out the mess created by their predecessors.
As they say, prudent is always safe, so the current president of TVP and his colleagues not only have a lot of challenges, but they are also constantly being watched over. For this reason, the Civic Network – Watchdog Polska organization asked to disclose the amount of earnings of directors employed at Woronicza. Although we had to wait several months for the answer, now everything has finally become clear, at least seemingly.

According to information made public by the organization, directors’ remuneration ranges from PLN 11,120 gross, the lowest, to even PLN 48,000. PLN gross. However, no details were given, i.e. who receives what amount and what amount. – In the case of directors of organizational units, we were provided with a list of employees with assigned functions and a separate summary of their remuneration, with the reservation that they were given in a different order than in the list with name, surname and function – Martyna Bójko from Watchdog Polska told Press.
It can only be concluded that four people receive salaries above PLN 40,000. PLN gross, nine employees earn PLN 35,000. PLN gross, while the rest, i.e. the vast majority, from PLN 20,000. PLN gross. Internet users apparently did not expect this, because many unfavorable comments have already appeared under the post on Facebook.
