Although Bartosz Żukowski played episodic roles in many productions before “The World According to the Kiepskis”, he became known throughout Poland only as Waldemar Kiepski in the popular Polsat sitcom. The actor appeared on the set of the production at the very beginning, in 1999, and played in it until 2005. After a six-year break, he returned to acting in the series, where he was accompanied by his fiancée Jolasia (Anna Ilczuk).
Over the years, he played not only in “Kiepski”, but also had a colorful love life
There were also many sudden changes in his private life. More than ten years ago, he was associated with Violetta Arlak, who was then the star of the TVP series entitled “Ranch”. Their relationship was widely commented on in the media because the two lovers had a significant age difference.
Later, the star of “The World according to Kiepskich” got involved with Ewa Coll, with whom he had a daughter, Pola. After four years of being in a relationship, the couple decided to get married. However, their idyll did not last very long, because the actor’s marriage turned out to be the nail in the coffin of their relationship.
Bartosz Żukowski’s marriage lasted only two years. Later, his partner filed for divorce, which resulted in several court hearings. Ewa Coll demanded settlement of the issue of alimony, fought with the actor for custody of her daughter and fought for the division of property.
Bartosz Żukowski found new love after court battles. However, we don’t see him in any new productions
The actor is also not very active on social media. However, from time to time he posts a post in which he shares what he is up to. In 2023, he posted a photo with Ludwina Pol, who works in the music industry. She is Bartosz Żukowski’s current life partner.
There have been no reports of new roles for the actor in recent years. In the fall of 2022, he joined the cast of the Super Polsat series entitled “Święty”, which told the further fate of Mikołaj Białach (Mariusz Węgłowski), known from the TV4 series “Policemen and Policewomen”. He played the role of Dominik, the brother of Andrzej Wróbel, played by Kazik Mazur. However, the series was canceled at the end of 2022.
He wanted to become a veterinarian as a child. Bartosz Żukowski helps animals in need
However, at some point the actor became deeply involved in helping animals in need. In one of the interviews for the O2 website, he admitted that in 2020 he joined the Animal Emergency Services Association, cooperating with the “Pańska Łaska” Foundation, with which he has been attending interventions for several years.
I do the worst, dirty work there. I’m crawling somewhere, rolling in feces, dirt, stench. That’s what it’s all about, let’s face it, it’s not taking three Yorkies from an old lady who won’t take them out. There are often even 100 or more animals that need help. It’s hard, physical work that is also emotionally demanding. But it gives me great satisfaction, said Żukowski.
As he admits, working in the association is not only tiring physically, but also mentally. – I saw a lot of animals dying because of human fault. At first I was very upset about it. I cried, I couldn’t sleep. It was inconceivable to me that people would commit such crimes because they had to be called by their name. Not feeding or watering an animal for several weeks is a crime for me, said the actor firmly.
